Murlough National Nature Reserve is

quite spectacular with its views of the ocean, mountains, sandy hills, bogs, and

some wooded areas.  It  has a beautiful

beach for swimming and there is an area where seals congregate.  It is located on A24 near Downpatrick in Northern Ireland.


The beach and walks are open from

dawn to dusk.

Car park open 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. all year
