The idea for this website originated in 2008. It was created when several viewers of our initial website:
asked us for recommendations of worthwhile activities and places to visit throughout Ireland.
We have been very fortunate to stay in over eighty hostels
throughout Ireland and learn a great deal from hostel owners and hostel guests about some of the most unique and beautiful areas of Ireland.
Some of the unique experiences profiled on this website might
appear in the Irish guide books, but others are just places
or events that left a striking impression on our family.
We enjoy sharing photos and information about our
trips to Ireland. We are not sponsored by any business or
organization.
